Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal information Beauty Kingdom collects, why we collect it, who can see it and your rights. Last updated: 5 November 2026.

Who we are

• Beauty Kingdom is an online business run under the name Beauty Kingdom. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

What we collect

• Your account: email address, password (stored securely and never readable by us), display name and "About me" text.
• Seller profiles: profile photo, services, prices and extras. These are shown publicly.
• Age checks: date of birth, a photo of your ID and a selfie holding your ID. Sellers must provide these, and buyers who want to see 18+ services.
• Orders and Tokons: what you ordered or sold, prices, order status, and a record of every Tokon added, spent, earned or refunded.
• Messages: messages sent between buyers and sellers on an order.
• Delivered files: images and videos a seller delivers for an order. Only that buyer, the seller and the admin can open them.
• Tokon purchases and cash-outs: the amount, the payment method, your BK- reference code, any transaction ID or payment screenshot you give us, and whether it was approved. Screenshots are kept in a private store that only you and the admin can open.
• Payout details (sellers): the details you save for getting paid, such as your bank account, PayPal, Wise or Revolut details, or crypto wallet address. Only you and the admin can see them.
• Notifications: messages about your orders and account shown under 🔔.
• Reviews and reports: reviews you leave (with your display name unless you post anonymously) and reports you send.
• Profile views: a random code saved in your browser so a seller's view count only goes up once per visitor per day. It does not identify you.

Why we use it

• To run your account and the marketplace: showing profiles and services, processing orders and Tokons, and letting buyers and sellers message each other.
• To check that sellers, and buyers who view 18+ content, are 18 or over. This is required by UK law, including the Online Safety Act.
• To keep the site safe: reviewing reports, removing content that breaks our rules, and preventing fraud.
• We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Your ID and selfie

• They are stored in a private, locked store. Only you and the Beauty Kingdom admin can open them, and they are never shown publicly.
• We only use them to confirm your age and that the ID is yours.
• We delete them automatically 30 days after we decide on your seller application or age check (or 30 days after your latest one, if you send more than one). Your verified status stays on your account.

Who can see your information

• Everyone: seller profiles, services, prices, reviews and reviewers' display names (unless the review is anonymous).
• The other person on an order: the order details and messages.
• The Beauty Kingdom admin: account details, orders, messages, reports and age-check documents, for running and protecting the site.
• Service providers: our database and storage are provided by Supabase, with servers in the EU (Sweden). New reviews are also posted to our Discord server, including the reviewer's display name (unless anonymous) and the review text. Discord may store this outside the UK.
• PayPal: if you pay with PayPal, PayPal handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment ID, amount and status, not your card or bank details.
• Fonts and icons: our fonts load from Google Fonts and our icons from the unpkg service. Your browser contacts them to download these files, which shares your IP address with them.
• The police or authorities: if the law requires it, or to report illegal content such as anything involving under-18s.

How long we keep it

• Account, order and Tokon records: for 6 years after your account closes, because UK tax law requires us to keep financial records. You can still ask us to delete everything else sooner.
• ID and selfie: see "Your ID and selfie" above.

Browser storage

• We save your login and the random profile-view code in your browser so the site works. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

• You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also delete your account yourself in My Account > Delete Account.
• If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
